Ways to make films about Taiyuan with AI
Taiyuan, known in ancient times as Jinyang, has Jinci to the southwest with its Song dynasty painted sculptures and the Nanlao Spring, while the Shanxi Museum holds the bird-shaped zun of the Marquis of Jin; Qingxu aged vinegar and knife-cut noodles are city calling cards. Ideas:
- Jinci's painted sculptures and the Nanlao Spring: bring the expressions of the attendant figures to life and let spring water flow past ancient cypresses, in a history film.
- The Shanxi Museum's bird-shaped zun: have the bronze bird lift its head and spread its wings, then explain its patterns and origins, as an artifact revival short.
- Qingxu aged vinegar: the traditional brewing process from raw grain to finished vinegar, as a heritage animation or a brand film.
- Knife-cut noodles and the Fen River banks: noodle strips flying into the pot, riverside paths and lights, in vertical shorts on city life.
How Taiyuan projects run remotely, and when we travel
We are based in Longgang, Shenzhen, and projects in other cities can run fully remotely: briefs and reviews over video calls, script, style, storyboards and first cut approved step by step in a project group, the film reviewed online and delivered via cloud drive.
When meeting in person or being on site matters, we can send people to you—for a kickoff meeting, a location recce with reference photos, or on-site playback support on event day. Travel and accommodation are listed separately in the quote.
Work worth a look for clients in Taiyuan
We have not yet done a local project in Taiyuan. Start with our support work for CMG's Exploring China Through Idioms, which turns allusions into AI shorts for the program; Exploring Longgang: An Intangible Heritage Scroll, which links several local crafts into one scroll, a fit for heritage like aged vinegar; and the Liaocheng Cultural Tourism Video for linking historic landmarks.
Pricing and timeline for Taiyuan projects
We take on projects from a few thousand to several hundred thousand yuan, priced by running time and production tier; a 1–2 minute film usually takes about two weeks, and a sample demo can be ready the same day. Rush production is available; timeline and price are agreed case by case.
