AI Video Guide
What an AI promo film costs, how long it takes, how quality is checked, who owns the rights, how it compares with live action—the questions clients ask most, answered one by one, each with real cases we’ve made.
How much does AI video production cost?
Liandan AI Studio takes on AI video projects from a few thousand to several hundred thousand yuan. Price depends on running time and production tier, set by visual difficulty and revision needs; a 1–2 minute film takes about two weeks.

Choose by content: imagined scenes, many seasons and places, or no time to organize a shoot suit AI; real people speaking and anything that must be recorded as it happened suit live action; exact structures and reusable models suit 3D. A table compares the three and explains how to combine them.

02Process & timing
What is the process for making an AI promo video?
Liandan AI Studio makes AI promo videos in 9 steps: brief, assessment and quote, contract and deposit, script, style and assets, storyboard frames, first cut, revised cut and final delivery. We move on only after your written sign-off, and a 1–2 minute film is usually delivered in about two weeks.
How long does it take to make an AI promo video?
A 1–2 minute AI promo video usually reaches first cut in about a week and final in another week, about two weeks in total; a sample demo can be ready the same day. Here is what affects the schedule and how long real Liandan AI Studio projects took. Rush production is available; timeline and price are agreed case by case.
What does a client need to prepare before commissioning an AI video?
Six things are enough to start: a one-line brief or synopsis, use and channels, 2–3 style references, length and aspect ratio, delivery date, and voiceover and language. Scripts, real photos, logos and product screenshots help even more. Here is a checklist and what clients gave us on real projects.
Can you make an AI video if I only have an idea and no script?
Yes. A one-line brief or story outline is enough to start, and turning it into a shooting script is already included in the production fee; original stories written from scratch are billed separately. Here is what a one-line brief should cover and real examples of going from idea to film.
Why make a sample demo before placing the full order?
A sample demo checks story, style and image quality before the full order: 15 seconds or more, in an AI automated or a hand-refined version, ready as soon as the same day and fully credited if you go ahead. Here is how to choose between the two and how real projects used samples to set direction.
03Quality & revisions
Can AI video keep characters consistent from shot to shot?
Yes. We first build the lead, recurring characters and main locations as fixed assets, and after your approval every shot is generated from them; face changes or mismatched scenes are objective errors fixed free before final. With examples from a six-episode Kuaishou drama and Robot Street.
How is the quality of an AI video accepted?
Acceptance is measured against benchmark works agreed in advance: both sides pick 1–2 at the quote stage, and reaching that level meets the standard. Continuity slips, typos and inconsistencies are objective errors fixed free before final. Here is how stage-by-stage acceptance works and what to check before delivery.
How many revisions does an AI video include, and how are big changes handled?
Two rounds are included by default: one on the first cut and one round of fine-tuning on the revised cut, while objective errors are fixed free any time before final. Out-of-scope work is billed per person-day, and reversing approved content carries a stage-based surcharge. Two real changes on the Robot Street project show how it works.
04Rights & compliance
Which tools are used to make AI videos, and are they licensed and compliant?
Liandan AI Studio uses only closed-source commercial platforms and models such as Kling, Lovart and LibTV, all on paid accounts with no open-source models, under terms that allow commercial use. We can provide the model list, subscription invoices, user agreement links and time-stamped generation records.
Who owns the copyright in an AI video, and can it be used commercially?
Once paid in full, all of Liandan AI Studio's rights in the film, original script, project files and delivered assets transfer to you, with no limits on territory or term. We use paid accounts on closed-source commercial platforms whose terms allow commercial use. This page covers the scope of transfer, music and voice licensing, and portfolio display.
05What we make
What can an AI digital human do?
AI digital humans can serve as guides, presenters and hosts, or recreate historical figures from records so they read letters, tell stories and answer a live host. Here are the common uses and how Red Letters: A Dialogue Across Time was made.
How are AI music videos and AI short films made?
AI music videos are storyboarded line by line from the lyrics, keep characters consistent and are cut with lyric subtitles; AI shorts and micro-dramas start from a script or outline, then character and location design, storyboards, video, voiceover and editing. With cases and timelines from Baidu Baike and Kuaishou.
How are event opening films and giant-screen videos made?
First pin down the screen's pixels, size, viewing distance and obstructions, then compose for that screen so subjects and text sit where the audience can see them. With the Global Digital Economy Conference opening MV on a 46×6 m screen, the 29 m wide Red Letters dialogue and the Chengdu Tianfu Twin Towers Lantern Festival film.
Can government and public-sector promo videos be made with AI?
Yes. Liandan AI Studio has made the 24 Solar Terms series, a 14th Five-Year Plan achievements review and Spring Festival greetings for the NDRC, plus city promos for several districts. Here is how we keep public-sector films accurate, dignified, consistent and compliant.
Can product ads be made with AI, and can the product be reproduced accurately?
Yes. The key is keeping the product true: we work from product photos, design drawings and UI screenshots so shape, logo, interface and colors all match, and use real screenshots or post-production motion for UI and small text. With approaches from OHMAI (UK), BGI Genpilot and Ziroom.
Can you make a promo video from photos without filming on site?
Yes. Send a few photos of the place and people; we recreate them, confirm storyboard stills first, then generate the video with voiceover, music and subtitles, so hospitals and factories keep running. Even a booth that isn't built yet can be filmed from its design renderings.
How do you make tourism and city promo videos with AI?
With AI, tourism and city promos don't wait for weather or seasons or need road closures for aerial shots: we generate seasons, day and night and people from real photos, then add voiceover, music and place-name captions. Here is how to find a through-line and keep places recognizable, with cases from Hongze, Liaocheng, Longgang and Haidian.
06Working with us
How can you tell whether an AI video company is reliable?
Check five things: verifiable cases (client, year, which part they did), an itemized quote, written sign-off at every step, paid commercial tools, and a clear copyright transfer. Using Liandan AI Studio as the example, here is what to ask about each.
How do overseas clients work with an AI video team in China?
The process, tiers and revision rules are the same as for domestic clients: written English communication, delivery via Google Drive, overseas payments accepted and rights transferred with no limits on territory or term. Liandan AI Studio has made product films for OHMAI (UK) and ChatRaha (Oman) and an animation for UNDP.
