Cases: which part they did must be clear
AI video projects often involve several parties, and sometimes only one segment of a film is AI. When looking at cases, ask who the client was, which year, and exactly which part the company did. Our case pages carry labels such as “AI visual support” or “VFX segment support”; for the People's Daily memorial film, for example, we made only an effects segment of about 11 seconds.
The quote: is every cost listed
A reliable quote states the total, what's included and how many revisions, any extra charges, payment terms and timeline, and the maximum runtime. Our pricing depends on runtime and production tier, and we take on projects from a few thousand to several hundred thousand yuan.
Our quotes are not negotiable. When budgets are tight, we suggest a lower tier, a shorter runtime or fewer difficult shots rather than lowering production quality within the same tier.
Process and revision rules
Ask how many revisions are included, what counts as an objective error, how reversing approved content is handled and how out-of-scope changes are charged. Rules written down in advance prevent disputes later. Our approach: objective errors are fixed free any time before final, and out-of-scope changes are quoted in writing first and only started after you confirm.
Tools, copyright and who does what
Ask which platforms are used, whether accounts are paid, whether subscription invoices and generation records are available, which rights transfer after full payment, and what is done in-house versus subcontracted. We do scripts, AI images, AI video, editing, AI voiceover and music ourselves; 3D rendering and human voiceover go to long-term subcontracting partners, with their fees listed at cost.
It also helps to look for repeat clients. After seeing the earnings video we made for Kuaishou, Kuaishou’s e-commerce team came back to us for an exhibition-booth film; after the conference opener for Cangqian Subdistrict in Yuhang, Hangzhou aired, they ordered a second film.
