What a one-line brief should cover
You can start talking even if materials are incomplete, and we'll help fill the gaps. Ideally, tell us:
- Where it will play: a launch-event screen, Douyin or WeChat Channels, a trade show or TV
- The feel you want: 2–3 films or images you like
- How long, and landscape or vertical
- When you need it, and whether there is a fixed release or event date
- AI or human voiceover, and in which language
How we go from idea to script
At the script step, we turn your brief into a shooting script: what each shot shows, what is said and how long it runs. If you need an original story, we start from the concept and first find a through-line that holds the whole film together.
For Robot Street: City of the Future, Where Anything Is Possible, we proposed having a foreign visitor ride a skateboard through the district, turning education, elder care and driverless delivery into one continuous journey instead of a list of facilities.
What counts as script development vs. an original script
If you give us an outline or synopsis, developing it into a production-ready script is included in the fee. Writing a story from scratch or refining a concept over many rounds is charged as a percentage of the production fee, and each extra complete concept for comparison is billed separately. All of this is itemized in the quote.
Not sure about direction? Start with a sample
When an idea is still vague, seeing images is the quickest way forward. For the UNDP public-interest film, we tried 3D cartoon, felt and Chinese-painting styles on day one and locked the look on day two. Sample demos start at 15 seconds, can be ready the same day, and are fully credited toward the project once you sign.
