Assets first, then shots
After kickoff we set the look, then make design sheets for everything that recurs: front, side and back turnarounds of the lead's face, hair and costume; scale sheets for props and robots; and main locations built from real reference. Every later shot is generated using these sheets as reference.
Geek Ideas has more than forty shots, and the lead Chen Yan moves between his rented room, showrooms, outdoor scenes and night scenes. What keeps him consistent is one turnaround: a blue-and-white checked shirt, khaki trousers and a black crossbody bag.
Keeping a series consistent
For multi-episode dramas and series, episode one builds the characters, locations and style, and later episodes reuse them. Across six episodes of “Piggy's Adventures” for Kuaishou, the yellow-and-white fur, white forehead stripe, pink wings and backpack never changed, and one voice was used throughout, so viewers recognize her whatever job she takes or wherever she goes.
Reusing assets also saves time: the second opening film for Cangqian Subdistrict in Hangzhou reused the first film's character and style and went from script to finished revisions in under a week.
When several characters share the frame
With several characters, each must be easy to tell apart. In the Kuaishou 2026 CNY micro-drama, Xiaokuai has no mouth, Xiaoliu has a mouth and blush, and Xiaoma is plush and wears winter clothes; their turnarounds, back details and relative sizes follow the same standard in every scene.
Films that need subtle facial acting, a lot of lip-synced dialogue or several characters interacting in one frame count as Premium under our tier rules, and we generate multiple takes to pick the best.
What happens if something doesn't match
Anything that doesn't match the approved script or assets, such as a character's face changing or a location shifting, is an objective error fixed free at any time before final and doesn't count as a revision round. A different case is when you decide to change the lead's design: that is a change to core content, and the amount of change is counted by how many shots the lead appears in.
