Common uses
Digital humans suit occasions that need someone speaking on screen when bringing in a real person every time isn't practical:
- Live screen interaction: the host asks, the person on screen answers
- Historical figures: face, clothing and period settings recreated from old photos and records
- Exhibition and memorial guides: segment-by-segment talks on screens beside exhibits
- Talking-head clips: send the copy and get vertical videos with the same look and voice every time
- Internal communications: role introductions and policy explainers
Getting period details right for historical figures
A historical figure's appearance and surroundings can't just look nice. For Red Letters, looks, clothing and letters were matched to different periods of each person's life, homes, street objects and clothing followed historical records, and letters, photos and reenactments all had sources, so the audience could connect the figures on stage with real history.
Leaving time for live interaction
A digital human on stage has to fit around the host's speaking and pauses. In Red Letters, figures step out of their portraits into states such as reading, breathing naturally, nodding while listening and responding, each in 5- and 10-second lengths, with transitions back into the frame between segments, so the host always has someone clear to talk to.
Brand IP characters can work on site screens the same way: at the entrance of the Kuaishou Party and Public Service Center, the vertical screen shows a breathing light while idle, and when someone approaches, Xiaokuai and Xiaoliu step out of a ring of light to say hello; it took 12 days from receiving the character files to delivering the 4K film.
Look, voice and lip sync
The digital human's look is approved at the style and assets stage, and the same figure can be reused across a series with a consistent look. AI voiceover includes lip sync and tone adjustment in Chinese or English; if you want a human voice actor, we use long-term subcontracting partners and list their fees at cost.
