The artwork loses its feel
Redrawn for animation, the paint and paper texture vanish and it looks like a different book.
What makes picture books special is the hand-made feel: crayon grain, watercolor bleed, the edge of cut paper. Many animations turn the characters into slick cartoons the author barely recognizes, and too much motion overwhelms young viewers.
We start from the original art and move only what’s already there—a scarf flutters, clouds drift, a rabbit blinks—while brushstrokes and paper grain stay intact. Then we add gentle read-aloud narration, music and sound. Across a series, every character looks and sounds the same in every episode.

Rush production is available; timeline and price are agreed case by case.

Episode by episode, faces, colors and proportions drift until kids don’t recognize them.
Constant movement and morphing lose small children and worry parents.
Impasto, watercolor, cut paper and crayon stay as drawn; only elements in the picture move.
Fixed framing, slow drift and small movements suit young children and read-alouds.
