01 / Background
Two tasks: a booth tour and an event red envelope animation
At the 118th China Daily Necessities Fair (July 24–26, 2025, Shanghai New International Expo Centre), Kuaishou E-commerce set up a booth and needed a short introduction film to play on site, with the IP character Xiaokuai showing visitors the booth, the featured product experience zone and the livestream partnership business. The client came to us three days before the fair opened, when the booth hadn't been built yet, so the visuals had to follow the booth design drawings and Xiaokuai's official look, turning a static design into a walkthrough of the booth led by the character's voiceover.
The booth film follows the order “enter the hall, arrive at the booth, introduce products, head to the meeting and livestream areas.” At about 41 seconds, all the information sits along the visitor route: viewers don't need to read a floor plan first; they just follow the character around and see what's there.
This page also includes an 8-second vertical red envelope animation for another event. It had to show two IP characters and the red envelope reward in a very short time, so the work centered on the characters' moves on a pile of red envelopes and the transition from scattered envelopes to the main red envelope end card.
02 / Creative Highlights
Different choices for a space tour and a short animation
01
A cartoon booth you can walk through, built from the real one
The booth's orange-and-white color scheme, walls and furniture are what make it recognizable. The film first shows crowds at the entrance, then has Xiaokuai walk down the aisle toward the booth before cutting to the tables, chairs and livestream equipment. The scene changes along one consistent visitor direction, turning a static booth design into a continuous scene that introduces the business.
02
Keeping featured products on either side of the character
When the voiceover introduces products, Xiaokuai stays at the center of the booth while the cards on both sides switch from one product to the next. The character remains the guide and the products have their own display spots, so viewers can see both who is presenting and what is being presented.
03
Showing the livestream partnership through equipment
After the meeting area, the frame moves to a livestream setup made of a ring light, a microphone and a backdrop. These concrete pieces of equipment make the livestream business visible. The film ends back on the character extending an invitation to partner, moving from touring the booth to welcoming business talks.
04
Taking the red envelope animation from scattered to focused in seconds
The vertical film first has the two characters climb onto a pile of red envelopes and keep jumping as the camera moves closer. At about 6 seconds, a big red envelope enters the foreground and the background turns a deeper orange-red. The main envelope grows, the characters move to the sides, and the focus narrows from the lively shower of envelopes to the reward.

Two types of IP promotional content
We delivered a roughly 41-second introduction film for the Kuaishou E-commerce booth and a roughly 8-second IP red envelope animation for an event. The first introduces the booth space and the business; the second uses character moves and transitions to create a few seconds of event visuals.
Case Study
Liandan AI Studio × Kuaishou E-commerce | A Booth Film Made in One Day, with Xiaokuai Leading Viewers Around the Fair Booth
On July 24, 2025, the 118th China Daily Necessities Fair opened at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, and Kuaishou E-commerce had a booth on site.
Three days before the fair opened, the client came to us for a short film to play at the booth, with the IP character Xiaokuai showing everyone around. The client had seen the Kuaishou earnings video we made, so they came straight to us.
From receiving the script and booth renderings to delivering the 41-second film, it took us one day.
This page also includes an 8-second vertical animation made that August for a Kuaishou red envelope event.

With several things to cover, we let Xiaokuai lead a walk around
The client's brief was simple: Xiaokuai walks into the convention center, greeting people along the way, then stands in front of the booth to introduce it and its products. The script had to cover a greeting, the event name, the bestseller experience zone, the livestream studio and an invitation to discuss partnerships.
Read out one by one, that's just a booth manual. So we told it differently:Order the shots along the visitor route.
First an overhead view of the hall, then the entrance, then Xiaokuai turning in the aisle to say hello and walking all the way to the booth. After that, each time a zone is introduced, the frame moves to that zone. Viewers don't need to look at a floor plan; they just follow Xiaokuai around and see what's at the booth.
Opening: overhead view of the hallXiaokuai greets viewers in the aisle
Read aloud, the script ran longer than 30 seconds. Instead of forcing a faster read, we paced the film to the voiceover, landing at 41 seconds.
02
The booth wasn't built yet, so we built it from the design drawings first
The film had to play on opening day, before the real booth could be filmed. The client provided booth renderings, so the booth on screen had to match them: the orange-and-white colors, the ring-shaped sign on top, the arches and the shelves, so visitors would recognize it on site.
We first generated an image of the hall with aisles and surrounding booths, cleared out the middle and kept only the sense of depth. Then we used this background, the booth design and Xiaokuai's look together as references to generate Xiaokuai walking toward the booth. This let us control the booth, the character and the setting separately, so it stayed the same booth across different shot sizes.

One image for each line of voiceover
At the booth, every line of voiceover has a matching image, so viewers aren't just watching a character stand and talk.
When the event name comes up, the camera pushes in on the sign “Kuaishou Daily Goods: Plenty of Cool Finds for Summer”; for the bestseller experience zone, Xiaokuai stands in the middle of a round platform while the cards on both sides cycle through summer finds such as drinking cups and fragrances; for meetings and livestreaming, the frame moves to the tables, chairs and reception desk, and then to the ring light and microphone.
Xiaokuai is always the guide; the products sit on their own cards and the equipment in its own zone. Who is presenting and what is being presented are both clear at the same time.

The 8-second red envelope animation: from lively to the reward
In August, we made a vertical animation for a Kuaishou red envelope event. The partner would cut it into the event video, so in just a few seconds it had to feel lively and end on the reward.
The original design had five steps: the two characters toss red envelopes, red envelopes rain down, they land in a pile, the characters jump on the pile, and they leap into the end poster. While editing, the partner found that the rain and the pile had been generated separately, so the amount of falling envelopes didn't match. So we made the falling and piling up a single animation, and the cut became smooth.
Then, following the partner's notes, we trimmed each segment to two images and made the image quality solid, deepened the background to a richer orange-red, and unified the two characters' height ratio. AI tends to garble the logos and text on red envelopes, so those were left to post-production, and the animation only handled the movement of the characters and envelopes.

What this project achieved
Trade show dates are fixed; a booth film one day late is useless. This project went from script to delivery in a single day, because we worked out how to tell it in advance: order the shots along the visitor route, and give every line of voiceover its own image.
Even before the booth was built, we could recreate it from the design drawings, and the IP character matched the official look in every shot.
For brands that need introduction films for trade shows, stores or live events, this is a fast and reliable approach: it plays on site, viewers understand it, and the character is recognizable.
FAQ
FAQ
How quickly can a trade show booth introduction video be made?
For this Kuaishou E-commerce booth film, the client made the request on July 21 and sent the script and booth renderings later that day. We finished the 41-second film within a day and delivered it ahead of the July 24 opening.
Can an AI video show what a booth looks like before it's built?
Yes, by working from the booth design drawings. We first generate an image of the hall with depth, leave the middle empty, then generate the shots using the setting, the booth design and the IP character together as references, so the colors, sign and shelves all match the design.
How do you keep an IP character consistent with its official look in AI video?
Every shot uses the client's official Xiaokuai design as a reference, and the character and background are controlled separately. In the Kuaishou earnings video we made earlier, Xiaokuai stayed consistent across all 34 storyboard shots, and this booth film followed the same approach.
AI-generated text and logos come out garbled. How do you handle that?
Wherever text must be accurate, we either produce a separate close-up and check it repeatedly, like the event slogan in the booth film, or leave it to post-production, like the logo and amount text on the red envelopes in the animation, where the animation only handles the movement of the characters and envelopes.
Approach
Booth references, shot breakdown and the red envelope animation
The cartoon booth was built from the booth design drawings: we first generated an image of the hall with aisles and surrounding booths, cleared out the middle to keep only the sense of depth, then fed this background, the booth design and Xiaokuai's look in together as reference images. This let us control the space and the character separately, so it looked like the same booth across different shot sizes.
The booth voiceover was broken into segments: arrival, welcome, featured products, and meetings and livestream partnerships. Product cards show the goods, the tables, chairs and livestream equipment show what each area is for, and the character's moves only support the current line, so no shot is overloaded.
The red envelope animation combines the falling and piling up in one animation, unifies the two characters' height ratio, and keeps just two images per segment. The final film focuses on the jumping on the pile and the transition to the big red envelope, with the number of actions cut down to fit in a few seconds.
The logos and reward text on the red envelopes tend to get distorted during generation, so all logos and text were handled in post. The characters, the envelope shapes and the end-card information were checked separately, so that stray text produced by AI was never mistaken for official event information.
